Injustice 2 is a game that is much more than just punching and kicking. For any beginner who is playing the game for the first time, it can be difficult to step into the ring. But with a little help, you can conquer the ring within no time. In this article, we are going to look into everything starting from controlling the game to the unique mechanics that are involved in the game.
When you play a fighting game you will notice that there is a lot of information already displayed on the screen which prompts you about the fighter’s condition. Just like any other battle game even Injustice 2 displays all of player 1’s details on the screen which is represented by bars. When you start playing the game you can see the bars on the left side of the screen. On the right side of the screen, you can see the bar of player 2.
The health bar of each of the player is indicated at the top of the screen. When a fighter takes heavy damage their health is shown to have decreased and the silver bar turns red in colour.
The time limit of each of the match in the game is shown in the middle of the screen. The game comes to an end when the timer runs out.
In the bottom corner of the screen, you will get to see bars divided into four sections. This is called the super mete which is your resource in the game which is required to be filled so that you can make a super move. Right next to the super meter is the character power which is basically a power move that is used by each of the characters in the game. The character powers of each character are different. Each and every character’s power is unique. Some of the characters do not even possess a meter but they have just an icon to represent what the actual power of the character is.
The controls in the game are the buttons with the help of which you can control the game. Each of the controls in the game has their official names.
Blocking: In order to perform a block, a player needs to hold back and away from the opponent. This is similar to most of the fighting games.
Dash: Inputting forward or backward two times so as to move quickly in that direction is equal to dashing your character.
Throw: Even though a player might be able to throw their foes with the press of the throw button the player is also allowed to use a certain universal input that is found in most of the fighting games. The player can also press the heavy attack button and the light attack button so as to throw. If the player thinks that their opponent is about to throw them then they may also press the throw button so as to escape their grab.
Thus, from the above discussion, we get a clear idea about the controls and the mechanics of the game.
